It has been hosted on Azure.CI/CD using VSTS. The backend was built by another team using a micro-service architecture. The technology used was ASP.NET WEB API.

The documents are stored on Azure blob storage and the document structure per clients are stored on SQL Azure.The mobile application communicates with the REST Service using a customised rest client that is replicated across the app.
